South African pine, 50 × 76 mm, in the six standard lengths from 3.0 m to 6.6 m. S7 stress grade (SANS 1783-2) — stronger and stiffer than S5, for longer spans or heavier loads where the engineer or truss designer specifies it. H2 treatment protects against insects and borers for timber kept dry and under cover — roof trusses, ceiling battens and interior framing, never exposed to weather or damp. The budget choice for roofs. Rough-sawn — straight off the saw, for framing that will be hidden or clad.

Handling & Storage
Stack flat on level bearers clear of the ground, under cover and with spacers so air moves through. Seal every cut end of treated timber with a brush-on preservative before it goes up. Wear gloves and a dust mask when cutting CCA-treated timber, and never burn the off-cuts.
