What changed
- Our website and email addresses moved to the aaggregates.store domain.
- First published.
These terms apply to businesses that provide plant hire or site services to customers through aaggregates.store (the "Platform") as a partner ("you", "the Partner"). The Platform is operated by Aggregated Aggregates, a division of Besbpo Group (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us"). They are accepted in the partner portal by an authorised person on the Partner's behalf, and apply together with any written partner agreement we sign with you.
1. Our roles
- We find customers, quote them, take their payment, send jobs to partners and keep the record of each job.
- You carry out each job you accept, with your own machines, vehicles, operators and crew, as an independent business. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee, agent or joint venturer.
- We earn a fee for arranging each job, which we add to your quoted amount when we quote the customer. Your payout for a job is the amount shown to you in the job offer.
2. Joining and staying active
Before you receive offers, and while you remain a partner, you must keep the following current and give us copies on request:
- company registration and tax-compliance details;
- operator certificates of competence for each machine type, and professional driving permits (PrDP) where the law requires them;
- public-liability insurance, and insurance for your machines and vehicles;
- roadworthy and licensed vehicles, and machines that are maintained and safe to operate;
- a list of your machines and the provinces you work in; and
- a bank confirmation letter for payouts.
Tell us straight away if anything changes — for example, if insurance lapses, a machine is out of service, or an operator's certificate expires.
3. Rates and quotes
- Rates you give us must be in writing, and you must honour them for the period stated. We may use written rate cards from several partners to publish a price for a machine or service in a province.
- When we ask you to quote a specific job, your written quote must cover everything the customer needs for that job (including transport to site) unless it says otherwise.
4. Offers
- Job offers appear in the partner portal and by email. Every offer is for a job the customer has already paid for.
- An offer shows the job, dates, site and your payout. You have 30 minutes to accept or decline; after that it goes to the next partner.
- Only accept a job if you have a suitable machine and crew free for the full dates. Keep your availability calendar in the portal up to date.
- Accepting an offer is a commitment to do the job as described. If you can't do a job you've accepted, tell us immediately through the job's messages so we can arrange a replacement.
5. Doing the work
- Arrive on the agreed date and time with the machine described, a competent operator, fuel and personal protective equipment (for wet hire).
- Start the job by entering the customer's 6-digit arrival code in the portal. Don't start work without it.
- Work safely and lawfully, including under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and the Construction Regulations, 2014, and follow the site's safety rules. You may refuse work you reasonably consider unsafe; tell us straight away.
- Record each day's work on a job card in the portal — hours, hour-meter readings or loads — accurately.
- Dispose of rubble and waste only at licensed sites, and keep the tip or weighbridge slips.
6. Customers and communication
- Communicate with customers through the job's messages in the portal. Phone numbers, email addresses and links are removed from messages automatically, and we may review messages where that happens or where there is a dispute.
- We don't share customers' contact details with you, and you agree not to ask customers for them or give yours for the purpose of arranging work outside the Platform.
7. Not going around the Platform
For 12 months after we introduce you to a customer, you agree not to accept work from that customer for plant hire or site services except through the Platform, unless we agree in writing. This protects the work we put into finding customers and the protections the Platform gives both sides. We review possible breaches with you before taking any action.
8. Sign-off, disputes and payouts
- When the customer signs off the job, a 48-hour dispute window starts. If no dispute is raised in that time, your payout becomes due and we pay it by EFT to your confirmed bank account, normally within 5 business days.
- Either you or the customer can raise a dispute while the job is in progress or within the dispute window. Your payout is held while a dispute is open. We decide disputes fairly on the job cards, messages and anything either side provides, and may pay you in full, in part, or not at all where the work wasn't done as agreed.
- Payouts are made only to a bank account in the Partner's name, confirmed by a bank letter.
9. Responsibility and insurance
You are responsible for your machines, vehicles, operators and crew, and for loss or damage they cause while carrying out a job. You agree to keep adequate insurance for this, and to compensate us for claims made against us because of your work, except to the extent the claim is caused by us.
10. Your information
We use your business and contact details to run the partnership, send you offers and pay you, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We don't share your contact details with customers. Your name is shown to a customer once you accept their job.
11. Ratings, suspension and ending the partnership
- We keep a record of your acceptance rate, disputes and customer ratings, and use it to decide which partner is offered a job first.
- We may suspend offers to you, or end the partnership, if you breach these terms, your documents lapse, or customers repeatedly raise justified disputes. We will tell you why, and give you a chance to respond unless the issue is serious (for example, a safety incident or fraud).
- You can end the partnership by telling us in writing. Jobs you've already accepted must still be completed, and payouts due to you will still be paid.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll ask you to accept the updated terms in the portal before you accept further offers; jobs already accepted continue under the terms in place when you accepted them.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions about them can be sent to legal@aaggregates.store.
