South African pine, 38 × 228 mm, in the six standard lengths from 3.0 m to 6.6 m. S5 stress grade (SANS 1783-2) — the standard grade for house roof trusses, rafters and purlins. H3 treatment is for timber above ground that gets wet — exposed eaves and overhangs, fencing rails, balustrades, cladding, decks, pergolas and carports, and coastal or damp sites. Not for timber in the ground. Sized (planed to a uniform size) — the profile truss makers and roof builders use, so every member lines up.

Handling & Storage
Stack flat on level bearers clear of the ground, under cover and with spacers so air moves through. Seal every cut end of treated timber with a brush-on preservative before it goes up. Wear gloves and a dust mask when cutting CCA-treated timber, and never burn the off-cuts.
